Hey there!
It's me again and I'm here to show you my finally finished melted crayon art, but before I do I thought I would show you a few examples of some melted crayon art and how to do it yourself; you know if you're in the crafty mood.
Here are some examples...
Please Note: I do not own the following 4 images.
Okay!
So, now that you have a few awesome examples, you may have some ideas for your melted crayon art.
Now, I'll show you how to make your own.
Things you'll need:
you will need a canvas, glue gun (or super glue), glue stick, a hair dryer, crayons and newspaper.
Step 1: Pick out the colors you want to use and line them up on the canvas until you run out of space.
Step 2: Using a glue gun, make a line of glue across the crayons (if you want a certain part showing, like the label, be careful to put the glue on the opposite side). Place onto canvas in a line.
Step 3: Line your floor with newspaper old towels or old table cloths, place the canvas against the wall, and start blow drying. You have to experiment a little to see how your hair dryer works with melting the wax. It sometimes splatters a little, so be sure to cover the floor and surrounding wall, and turn to a lower setting if needed.
Step 4 (optional): After you've got all the colors to melt, you can go back over certain colors that you want to go further down the canvas.
Okay, so as promised, here is my melted crayon art.
That's all for now!
Caelen.
